Our Nursing Assistant Program is a 6 week course, 120 hours which prepare you to pass the written and practice skills of the Florida State CNA examen. The Basic Life support course  incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate from the American Heart Association(AHA). The Adult CPR/AED  and BLS certification is valid for two years.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course:

• Learners will be able to perform CPR for Adults and child
• Learners will demonstrate how to use an AED
• Learners will be able to understand the difference between the stroke, a heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest
• Learners will demonstrate what to do if a person is choking, including infants and children
